I finally got the open water itch relieved! Got out to Island lake near Fosston last Sunday the 21st. It was 35 degrees and snowing but had a great time. I managed to find some action on the crappies. They were still in their wintering holes, suspended 10 ft off bottom in 22 ft of water. Can't wait till the water warms a bit and they make their way to the beds! Good fishin, LaVoi
