muchowja
A recommendation on what length and action to use when trolling with planer boards. Are the more expensive rods any more effective? Would line counter reels be a good investment? Thanks 4 the comments.------------------A bad day fishing is still better than a good day at work. GullGuide
Line counter reels are almost a must, but you can get by without them. As far as rods go, Toad and I have been using the el-cheapo Kmart specials now for the last few years with good results. With these rods you're not looking for anything fancy.Good Luck------------------>"////=<Gull Guide Servicefishingminnesota.com/gullguideBrainerd-Mille Lacs-WillmarBemidji-Ottertail
GooseSlayer
I have been using Cabelas E-glass series rods with very good results. You can buy them for 20 bucks apeice if you buy 2 or more.I pull shadrapr on boards. They seem to work very well. They also handle superlines with no problems. They get my vote. Keep settin hook Dave
