Hello everyone.. First time posting on HSO so lets see how it goes. Its been a real "on and off" week here. As it goes this time a year with ice fishin you have to be very mobile to keep on fish. If your a guy who likes to fish shallow water find the green weeds, match the food and use a camera.. For those fishing deep the use of a flasher and many holes in an area with some fresh water comming in and depths up to 30 fow. And dont be affraid to try after Dark.. Fresh water is key this time of year do to low oxygen because of ice depth, snow cover and lack of green weeds..Tip up fishing has been just awsome. Some very large Bass and Northerns have been comming out of holes. Early in the season all you need was a good walleye set up for a rod and a real with a Jign rapela. Boy is that fun and cheap to. I dont know about the rest of you but my shinner bill this year is very large. Well good luck and be safe Three Rivers Outfitters Now I have to figure how to put pics on my post. Any help would be great!!!

Hey Stroz, Welcome aboard!! I'd like to suggest that when you post, post in the appropriate forum. You have posted in the "Varmints, Furbearers, and Trapping" forum. You will DEFINITELY get a better response in the "Mississippi River" or the correct regional forum. smile Phred52
