Paw Issue?

I noticed on my dog a few months ago that part of her paw was swollen. I've seen this before but it goes away after a couple days. I'm not exactly sure what it's from. Well it's not going away too fast. It doesn't bother her, I can push on it and move it around and get no reaction from her. She doesn't favor it or anything. Lately it's been getting a lot softer like it's getting better, it was tighter in the beginning. It just seems like there is some fluid in there. Does anyone else have these issues or know what it's from? I don't have much concern of it because it doesn't hurt her, but just want to make sure. Thanks!

Is she an older dog? We have a friend that has a old Great Dane who has a paw swell up on occasion. I'm not sure they know a cause or not, but I think they said that benadryl helps.

Soon to be 4 yrs old.

Sounds like a puncture wound that healed over. Sometimes if something broke off in there it will take a while to work it's way back to the surface.

I have seen it a few times, like charlie said puncture wound. They can take awhile if something is still in there.

I had a dog with a little sprain, but she always showed a reaction to pressure on it.

Thanks for the info. I won't worry too much about it since it's not bothering her.
