what do you guys recommend for spraying my white covers for predator hunting to keep water resistant? I tried some famous footwear water treatment spray laying around the house, but didnt seem to hold up, as the water soaked through my whites.

Camp dry works ok for incidental stuff, but it's not like you'll be able to sit in a puddle or anything. For predator hunting I'd recomend a thin turkey hunting style seat that straps to yoru waist. It will keep you dryer and warmer and you'll fidget less and kill more critters.
