I haven't used the 224, but I used my dad's 10" lazer with his 3 hp SOLO for the first time Friday, and I pretty much just stood there with my mouth hanging open in awe after I finished the first hole. That thing has so much power, and cuts so fast, it's just plain scary. I don't think I could wipe the smile off my face for about 20 minutes. Pretty sweet machine. Can't vouch for its dependability yet, though.
