or anyone else that want to know. Those waterfowl gloves that I used to make the Lenscoat for my 100-400 and my 400 are on sale for $14.99. The size I used were the 2XL and one pair will provide enough material to do 1 lens. These were not in the bargain cave but in the waterfowl clothing section. For the thread I used 50# Dacron but I think regular thread would work just as good. This is a good and cheap way to protect your investment cause good glass is a investment.

In other words, I could order them and have them drop shipped to you, you'd assemble them and send them my way? Great. What's your address? whistlegrin

grin

I was thinking more of do-it-yourself project on a weekend when the weather is bad wink

It will save some cash if that any consolation grin

Sweet Thanks Jim! What store are you referring to that they are on sale at?? Hopefully its one that is either here in Point or in Wausau ( Fleet Farm, Gander)I think I will have to pick up a pair and see what I can do as I would rather look at that than the flashy white lens! smile
