What areas produce the most number of turkeys? I have never applied for a turkey permit in ND because I just became a resident. Are their turkeys on the east side of the state or more on the west side? I'm jsut wondering what area I should apply in.

I would look to the western area of the state. In the times I've been in ND pheasant hunting, I've never seen a turkey east of the river. Not that they don't exist, but I believe their largest population is west of the river.
