Opener Tickets?

Taking my mom to the game as her Christmas gift and now have to find tickets. Anyone here ever dealt with Ticket King? They seem to have about the best selection of tickets. Ticket Master doesn't have much other than outfield seats. Any others FMers have dealt with? We have our name in for the lottery but don't think the odds are going to be real good there and I'm guessing the higher quality seats we are looking for won't be available in that process anyways. Thinking about just laying down now for the seats we want in case the prices start skyrocketing.

I am a season ticket holder and have been puting a group together for opening day for several years now and still have had a hard time getting tickets to this game. After much sweating we have finally been given approval for our group, though smaller than we've had in the past. Tickets for this game will not come cheap.

New this year on the Twin's HSOforum is "Stub Hub". There are tickets for sale there. They come from people like me who got them as ST holders, or groups who either can't go, or are looking to make a profit on them. Not sure how pricing is compared to other sites, but as an example. Our group will be in the Grand Stand area (not yet sure which section) and the list price on these tickets are $23, plus handling charges, bla bla bla. These tickets on Stub Hub START at $140!

Good luck and I hope you get to the game. It's going to be a hisoric event that's for sure.

We're leaning towards one of the boxes on third base to get the downtown skyline view. It's a once in a lifetime event and it's for my mom who is a huge Twins fan. That helps alleviate the sticker shock somewhat. We kind of knew what to expect after tracking tickets to the new rodent football stadium opener.
