mknolls
Me and my wife are looking to go fishing and camping on Lake of the woods MN side, Possibly. Looking for all kinds of advice on some Camp grounds or Resorts and some good fishing spots. Need to find out more about the line between US and Canada. And what happens if you cross it. Or would it be better to by a Canadian license and a border crossing certification. Any advice would be thankful. Thanks in advance.

Rodric Christensen
Although rustic ( purposely left that way ) Zippel Bay State Park is OK. Nice boat landing and docking area. If you prefer trailer lot style camping, I think some of the resorts offer that. A GPS with a lake map chip is one way to make sure you stay on the right side of the border.
