Lowrance H20c

Presco

Question

Now that they've been discontinued, is anyone familiar with a handheld product on the market that can be used with Navionics and Lakemaster chips?

Also, I think I can get an aftermarket H20c, wondering what peoples thoughts are on them? I've heard great reports, but I've also heard they are very hit or miss, lots of issues with GPS lock and such. This would make me nervous getting an aftermarket or used one.

Would love some advise from people. Thanks.

I have been using one for 5 years. I did have some issues with it acquiring a signal. Sent it to Lowrance and they sent me a new one.

Since that time, no issues at all and I have been very happy with the unit.

If you already have chips for the H20, they will more than likely only work in a Lowrance unit.
