Guest
Do the fish activity and feeding associated with these actually mean anything? I was checking out the table the ESPN outdoors site and it has tomorrow as the best day of the month.
Guest
Joe Bucher, the noted muskie guide/video producer/lure manufacturer, is convinced that big muskies are caught at specific times in relation to solunar tables.Others have done extensive research and seem similarly convinced.Unfortunately, most anglers fish when they are able to fish, not necessarily when it is the most opportune time. cwmn
It's not about when you can fish it's knowing how to fish and what to target according to what phase the moon is in and if it's out or not. With that said I have not been able to figure out how it really works. There was one time ice fishing when the sun went down and the crappies turned on for an hour and a half then turned off, I looked up to see the moon just rising over the tree tops, go figure.Bucher's websight used to have a couple of pages explain the whole thing, this is info he has drawn from years of guiding and keeping good records and matching them with the lunar tables.
