clam zipper repair

So during the cold spell we just had my zipper got frozen shut and while trying to open it I managed to break the zipper pulls off one of the zippers. They still work but are pretty tough to grab without the little tab deal to grab onto. Anybody had this happen and come up with a nice solution to get the little tab deals (or some type of thing to grab) back on. I dont need to replace the whole zipper as it is still inact and works.

If it is just a broken tab see if you can fit a key chain loop through the hole. I have used that on my portable.

I've run a zip tie through the hole in the slider-that works pretty well and is cheap.
