bench/dinette

Ol' Lund

Recommended Posts

Hi-

take ice castles for example (i'm sure other brands too), but they have a top bunk then below that is a bench/dinette that folds down into a bed, I was wondering how the table is attached to the wall? I know that lot of them have 2 poles that fold down, so is it hinged to the wall? pics would be great!

thanks

hi Lund, My rv has a dinnette that turns into a bunk. There is a tube that slips into a base like a boat seat pedastal. The tube is attached to the table with another base on the underside of the table. When you take the tube out the table is dropped down and sits on top of the edges of the seat part.

fish house supply sells a detatchable mount, you screw one end to the wall and the other to the edge of the table which allows the table to be lifted off the wall mount to drop to a bed. You also need their adjustable flip leg that flips down to support the table and up under the table top for bedtime.
