The drive clutch on my 97 ultra sp seems like it's engauging late(high rpm's). it acted like this a little last year, but now it's bad, i'v already chewed up two belts this year. how do i adjust, clean, lubricate, or whatever to this clutch, i'v never had one appart. any info on this would be great, i only use this sled for fishing so if that makes a diffrence.

to take it apart, you should have a compressor tool, especially the first time. guys who have had them apart a lot can do it without but to do it right you should have the tool. You can take the weights out and see if they are gooved or the bushings in them are worn. The other thing to check is the cover bushing and the moveable sheave bushing which means disassembly.
