Does Anyone else use a swival for Panfish????

I do most of my fishing with a vex / jigging / no bobber. On most of my set ups I have light braid (2-4lb) tied to a very tiny spro barrel swivel then to about 18 inches of 2-4 lb flouro then to my jig/spoon/rap. I've noticed NO drop in sensitivity especially if I'm paying attention to the vex. I've also noticed NO line twists and typically I'll outfish most buddies around me that tie directly, don't use small flouro, use bobbers, permit line twists. I'm very much an advocate of using those tiny barrel swivels ( yes you have to tie to both ends ). If the fish are attacking your swivel they are trying to tell you something.... down size, change color, raise your rod tip so the bait & lure is closer to the fish..... Basically you should never use large swivels while ice fishing as the water gets much clearer and they're quite un-natural looking.
