Bigslugger
I recently purchased a iFinder H20C and wondering how the Hotmaps by Navionics compares to a Lakemaster. The Hotmaps seem to have a lot more lakes, but are they as high of quality or the Lakemasters. Also is it true that you can trade your old Hotmaps and pay of the reduced price on the current year? Fred_Bear
Not sure about Hotmaps, but I have heard you can trade old Lakemaster chip for $50 towards a new one. Not positive on that though.I will say I like Lakemaster better. Hotmaps does have more lakes but the quality of the good Lakemaster lakes is very good. There are some Lakemaster lakes that are very poor though. The refresh rate when zooming or panning is faster on the Lakemaster which doesn't seem very important but can be very annoying when it's taking forever to load a map.
