walleyeaddict
What unit is the best for ice house installation? Can you leave it when not heated? Looking at a 20 inch is this too large and will drw to much power to be run on 12 volt system when no generator is available?? With the new digital Tv what kind of antenna do you use? Don't want a sattelite just a few stations off the local tower. Any input is appreciated?
eyebjim
A camper crank up antenna works good. Check the watt rating of the tv you want to purchase. I like to keep it under 25 watts but that is hard to find in a 20 inch. I use a 10 inch flat screen that draws 17 amp and a sat receiver that draws 25 watts and I get about 3 days out of 2 29 series deep cycles. If you get a 45 watt it would be about the same battery usage. I think most 20 inchers are going to go about 80 watts or more. At 80 watts you would get a little more than half as much time.
