Muskiefool
There have been many who have impacted Muskies in North America; their drive comes from a chance to just touch her, to see her and release her; each is to their own as to what the value of each fish is or how we choose to let her into our lives or those of others. Very few have ever given it their all, very few men have seen the truth of life and known just how valuable Muskies truly are, don't get me wrong they are not the only fish just that one fish.Unfortunately those who love and cherish this fish cannot live forever but their dreams and visions can and do.The most notable person of these men is Hugh C Becker, he saw the horrors of beach landings in the south Pacific during World War II came home unscathed; a true miracle, he gave all he could to a fish that was something special and something he must have known would show others the same.Muskies, hard work and the friends he made from that common thread created an endowment of over 4 million dollars that would be used for Muskies.I was told last night that this year that gift would be over $120,000.00 to the Muskie world, if you are involved in any Muskie matters and need funds to help you get a project started, done or to fulfill a dream that will directly benefit Muskies submit a proposal to the Becker Trust committee. This is a very exiting time for research and stocking in the US and Canada. My Thanks to Mr. Becker for loving the fish and to those that help carry his dream.
