Expedition: Great White

Nat Geo tv is having some 'expedition week' and have a special tomorrow with great whites, looks like they're going to catch at least one (hopefully a couple) and attach tracking devices. I'm just excited to see them catch great whites, certainly the ultimate fishing experience.

Just a heads up if anyone else is as interested as I am in sharks, it certainly is worth watching if you've got access to Nat Geo tv

I'll absolutely be tuning in tonight! Looks awesome. My dream fishing trip is fishing great whites, trolling a topwater seal immitation with some monster treble hooks hanging off it!

That would be some fun fishing, south of Cape Horn South Africa where those great whites jump 20 feet out of the water when they hammer those seals. Crazy!

Halfway through the show they finished a successful catch-attach-release of a HUGE 16+ foot female.

I gotta say, I wish I could get paid to do that.

Anybody notice if a guy named Chris Fischer was running the program? i saw a short segment on the news about whites being live captured and tagged, figured it must be the same guy.

I didn't catch the names of the guys. I did think it was interesting they got into a rubber boat to fight the fish
