i am remodeling my fish house. it is 14X7.5 with a v front. except for the axle it is 100% alum. i have pink styro in the walls a 3/4 " floor that is not insulated. my furnace is mounted 4ft up on the wall middle of house. i have ceiling fans to keep the heat down. i am going to insulate the floor with pink styro. my house is warm but my question is can i move my furnace up into the nose on the floor or will the house than become colder. also the suburban furnace is quite loud & i had to build a box with sound deading material so i could hear tv. anyone else find them loud when up front. am i crazy to think of moving it or am i better off where it is.

thanks.

Keep your furnace right where it belongs...in the middle. No good way to move heat horizontally down the length of the house....you'll have a real cold spot in the opposite end of the house if ya move it up front. Just my .02 worth.
