I hunted a camp on the King Ranch last April. The roost we set up near had 150 turkeys on it. It took 14 minutes from shooting time to bag my tom. I had my choice of 5 toms that approached my decoy in one group. Each one trying to out do the other. After I shot my tom I had 8 more toms come up to the decoy in the next 20 minutes and we had quit calling. Truly amazing.

The camp I hunted was private and doesn't offer guided hunts. From taking to the the camp owners what they experience on that camp is fairly typical of the other camps in the area. Ther are tons of turkeys!

If you go make sure you spray yourself with DEET before sitting on the ground. The quantity of ticks you down there is unreal.
