goblueM
so I'm heading out to ND tomorrow for some waterfowling. I noticed geese have restricted shooting hours, and we plan on hunting both geese and ducks. I read the regs online all the way thru and they did not answer this question:Could I have goose dekes out in the field PAST legal goose shooting hours, but still hunt over them for ducks? I know ducks often come into mixed spreads so I'd like to use them. Also be using some super mag geese as blinds and we don't have layout blinds so it'd be a bummer if we couldn't use those for duck hunting. Anybody have an answer!? thanks! BoxMN
I believe you can use goose decoys if you are just shooting ducks, but don't take my word for it. Give the ND DNR a call. THe ducks do come in nice to goose decoys.
