Reputable Small Engine Shop

I inherited a two stroke evinrude that hasn't been used for about 5 years. I want to take it and get it looked over since I'm motor/engine illiterate. Curious if anyone has an small engine shops that they would recommend in the north metro(Lino, Blaine, Forest Lake area). Thanks in advance.

I like the guys at Robbinsdale Marine. Never done me wrong yet.

Both Hannay's and Robinsdale are both great options, I know they're a little ways from ya, but they both seem to be straight shooters.

There is an outfit on 65 across from the theater in East Bethel but I forget the name. I haven't been there, but they can't be any worse than Nelson's- they charged me $60 (hourly shop rate) to tell me nothing was wrong after my motor kept stalling out a couple of years ago.

Let me know where you go, I still need to get that motor issue resolved.
