Wilcraft

I read on the site that some of you guys would buy a wilcraft if you hit the lottery. Well I didn't hit it but my grandfather left me some money and told me not to pay bills with it. I could have paid off visa but said what the hell and I bought one. I think it's the first one in Nevada and I can't wait to take it out and have everyone wonder what is that thing. So far I have just driven it around the neighborhood and gotten plenty of stares.

Most of the time our weather won't require the top up and we will use it mostly just to get us out onto the ice. Looks to me that it will work just the way it is, but just to ask has anyone done any mods to theirs to suit them?

Pictures as soon as the ice gets here.

Funny you mention the Wilcraft since just last week my buddy dropped by with his that was the first one in Canada . Pretty cool rig I must say and was amazed how fast it goes with just an 8 and half horse motor . It seemed very stable in the corners too . Off hand I know he has added a fishfinder and GPS .

Were supposed to take it out duck hunting and fishing sometime soon and I report back further . He has used it himself though for icefishing and open water a fair bit .

I like it . And yes you get some odd looks from folks cruising with it and even funnier ones when you run it straight off the beach right into the water . LOL

The wilcraft Are one of a kind There is nothing better for a portable wheel house / hunting rig out there . I drove one last year on leach lake , Ive also been with Tom ,Dave on a demo of there rescue rig in Prior lake It works very well , pretty much unstoppable in any setting

Tom has put up with my questions for several years now and I finally got to buy one and meet him. A very nice guy.

Jan and Feb are our big months to ice fish but I should be able to extend that this year and hit one lake that has never been very accessible.
