Taking a look at these as i am retiring my voyageur as the sled and canvas are on thier last season...led me to look at the clam base camp....with the thermal it sure looks like it will retain the heat...realizing also you have to anchor for those LOW winds....but doesn't look to complicated or a hassel and tranporting seems easier with no plastic bottom or sled to deal with and if your use to flip overs and the ice as a floor sure seems like a good porti to go after
