.410 shot gun deer hunting

I dont know why it wouldn't be legal. As long as it is shot out of a plastic shot shell, it is a shot gun.

Pine Tech's gunsmith dept. used to make a custom lever action .410 that would shoot slugs to 5" five shot patterns at 100yards. They were fully rifled barrels, and legal in the shotgun zone....

Now if he was shooting 41 magnum pistol shells out of it, then I would say illeagal. Not sure I would go that route, but then again.....

After all, a .308 encore pistol is legal state wide, and thats just a small rifle. There are ways to "get around" the slug zone. Centerfire handguns (.357 works for me) and muzzies being prime examples.
