Anytime. This snow woud have been perfect to push the fertilizer into the soil.

I read once that the U of M stated that if a person was to fertilize only once it should be the in fall. If to fertilize twice it should be done both times in the fall. And three times once in the spring and again twice in the fall. The reason it coolest, wet and the weeds are gone or about to.

Can I still spray Weed BeGone?

I have dandelions and a few thistles.

You can still spray. You're not going to see any effect this fall, as most likely the weed is wilting from the cool temps, but the root structure is still taking in entergy to hardy over winter, and will still absorb chemical.
