When I turkey hunted down in Houston county I saw and heard all kinds of grouse! I was very surprised how many I saw! The trouble is if you want to hunt them you would hunt them you have to have one leg shorter than the other to walk those hillsides..And be in extremely good shape!

This has been a sensitive topic in another thread, but I was riding the Snake Creek ATV trail in SE MN and saw a lot of grouse. I wasn't hunting them. Just enjoying a day on the trails. But there were several grouse on or near the trails.
