fishnhuntnboy
Yea i will be shooting over decoys majority of the time. The ones that i do pass shoot i have dropped with 4 shot. So most of my shots are pretty close. I would say my furthest shot is like 30 yards. I dont like to sky shoot at 50 yard ducks.
Seabass77
IMHO, you really have to hunt and shoot ALOT to get the value out of buying a case of shells. Especially if you are not even sure what you want. I bought a case of #2 kent fast steel years ago and it took me two seasons to use and I never liked it, just didn't pattern well for me. You should find out what you really like for shells, then buy a case. I am trying #3 black cloud for ducks and BB BC for geese this year, we'll see how it goes. CatchPhotoFilet
Invest in a reloader, ammo is only going to increase as time goes on.

Not once last year did we shoot a bird and destroy it. If you shoot a bird with in 10 yards it doesn't mater what size shot your using you'll rip it apart. Jarrod32
I prefer #2 as well. Works well for duck and pheasant. I usually go in with a couple other guys and we get a case between us. Then I usually add a box or two of BB for geese.
