Northern Minnesota

I am looking to make a day trip around the duluth area in a few weeks in hopes of some great scenery. Are there any parks or trails, nature type areas that would provide good photos? Thanks for any input

All of the state parks up the North Shore are centered on rivers, and while there hasn't been much rain lately and flows will not be huge, there are still plenty of great photos to be made along those rivers.

Not to mention the lake and the shoreline itself. And if you time your trip with the fall color (usually peaks first weekend October inland and a bit later down by the lake), you've really got a nice recipe for landscape photographs.
