Antler Restrictions???

For those of you that Whitetail hunt in Missouri, what is your opinion on the effectiveness of antler restrictions as a means of managing a deer herd?

Being from Minnesota there is a lot of heated debate about this as I'm sure there was in Missouri. But now that it's been implemented in the majority of the state, how is it going???

I am all for it for several reasons, but it would be interesting to hear from those who live it.

I've bowhunted in NE Missouri 3 times and would gladly go back. The area I hunted was managed and I saw many nice bucks than what I see in MN.

I plan to go back sometime in the future.

My son hunts in an area that was with the first bunch to go to the restrictions....He is killing nicer deer now! Although you can still get an antlerless permit and kill a doe or BB, or a Big Buck if you get the chance. Here you can kill anything when you have an antlerless permit, but you can only kill antlerless on bonus tags!
