just wondering if anyone had any tips to find some walleyes or crappies. Our group will be staying at rod and reel resort sept. 17-19.

Was out walleye fishing on Saturday and cracked the walleye pretty well. Myself and 3 boys (7,7, and 3) caught about 40 in 4 hours of fishing. Walleye only, no attempts for crappie. 27 f.o.w. seemed to be the best.

Was out 9/18 by yellowgirl, caught some but was very slow; leeches were the best bait. 9/19 fished a wind blown shoreline leading into long bay, much better results; all fish were between 25-28 FOW. Minnows were best this day fished on a lindy rig.
