I heard on Kfan yesterday that the Twins grabbed the right to Rich Harden. All they have to do is come to terms. Hopefully the terms would include next year. Did anyone hear about this? Seems like the Twins are kind of out of it for this year, but al bit longer contract with him would make him our #1 starter for sure. Any thoughts on this.

Per Jim Hendry, GM of Cubbies, This is a non-story. Cubs still have an outside chance at Wild card and have no interest in getting rid of Harden or any of their other players at this time. In addition, Harden has indicated he is not interested in leaving the Cubs. All info available on numerous Rich Harden Web Sites.
