Not usually one to plan outings on moonrise/lunar tables, but noticed that Sept 4th, is a full moon that rises 6 minutes before the sun sets, approximately 7:13pm. Looks like a great time to be on the water.

The full moon will have the greatest effect when it is directly over head.

  As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that. If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
