LeeKen
I have a background image that I really like. Unfortunately the original file is gone.Is there any way to recover an image that only exists as a background?
sanka
If the image is your desktop background, then it is stored on your computer somewhere. If you don't know the name of the file, or where it might be located, you can just open the windows search function and search for "*.jpg" (without the "") and it should bring up most of the picture files on your computer, you can weed through them from there. LeeKen
Thanks for the reply Sanka.I can see the file name when I look at Display Properties, Background. However when I search for the it by name, I get no results. Yes it is in here somewhere, but I'll be darned if I can get to it.
