Dove Hunting in NE South Dakota

I have never Dove hunted , but would like to try this year. Would N.E. South Dakota be a good place to start, or would I be better off going to another part of the state? What time of the month would I get a chance to see the best concentations of Doves.

NESD would be a good place to find doves. There are lots of doves, but lots of water also. I believe you also have to be 50 yds off of a road so you may end up needing to get on private land which may or may not be hard to do depending on the area.
