Stream Trout SE MN

Any one having any luck with the swollen streams? Went out today for a couple hours at Hay Creek. My gawd, it's a river now. No luck for me. I think I got two hits but no catches.

hey there, i usually fish the 325st culvert and up stream from that. lots of Beaver damage in that area! i've been using spinners for the best bite. hope this helps. later, Dogg

Things are returning to normal! Yet with good flow!

My son and I went yesterday after work. Water was just barely clear enough to fish. My son used spinners and I was fly fishing. We both caught fish with the largest being about 14 inches. We fished for a couple hours and I didn't see anything hatching or a fish rise.

I have learned "barely clear enough to fish" is held in the eye of the beholder.

However, I imagine if it was good enough to catch on a fly, it was more than clear enough.

Good to hear you guys made it out again.

I am hoping for another run tomorrow as well!
THese old legs are starting to get back in shape!!
