Water, Oats, Cut Hay, Cut Sweet Corn, Ect.?

What do you all normally hunt 4 early season? How many dekes, I know the whole "family group" thing does that apply on water 2?? Lay out blinds or just fence lines for cover?

If you are seeing geese 20-30 yds from the fenceline with cover in it, they are most likely landing a ways from there and walking closer to the tall stuff- that's what I've seen...so I would put the layout blinds anywhere 70-100 yds away from the fenceline.

Water- I've done family groups and seem to work well, what I've seen that in the early season putting out a dozen or less works best on water.

Field- Family groups like everyone says and you already know that, I kind of put a couple doz together around the layout blinds and put family groups out in the spread, for how many- I like putting out a dozen for each blind/hunter.
