Night bite

Just got back from fishing at 12:30 am. What a beautiful evening, full moon, got real chilly when the sun went down, no skeeters bothered me as they were to busy looking for their parka's. I didn't catch a lot, one walleye, 5 huge sunnies, and right before I came in I caught a northern that still had the green hook he took off of me around 8pm while I was lindy rigging. Not another soul on the lake, just the way I like it. Just might try again tomorrow night.

I went back out at 7 am Weds. morning, got 2 more eyes (one in 4 feet of water at 830 am) a 16 inch bass, bunch of little bass, and another snotrocket. Left the house at noon, took two cruise of seniors out, went to a meeting till 830 pm, was gonna go do some more night fishing and when I got there I had a dead battery on the boat and had no lights. I dropped my big flashlight and broke it, so I figured it was time to go home. Discovered this morning that I had left the switch on for the interior lights the night before and it drained my battery.

bummer! probably good thing you quit, maybe dropped your best rod in the lake besides.
