Night bite

Recommended Posts

Just got back from fishing at 12:30 am. What a beautiful evening, full moon, got real chilly when the sun went down, no skeeters bothered me as they were to busy looking for their parka's. I didn't catch a lot, one walleye, 5 huge sunnies, and right before I came in I caught a northern that still had the green hook he took off of me around 8pm while I was lindy rigging. Not another soul on the lake, just the way I like it. Just might try again tomorrow night.

I went back out at 7 am Weds. morning, got 2 more eyes (one in 4 feet of water at 830 am) a 16 inch bass, bunch of little bass, and another snotrocket. Left the house at noon, took two cruise of seniors out, went to a meeting till 830 pm, was gonna go do some more night fishing and when I got there I had a dead battery on the boat and had no lights. I dropped my big flashlight and broke it, so I figured it was time to go home. Discovered this morning that I had left the switch on for the interior lights the night before and it drained my battery. cry
