Fertilizer #'s for right now?

I put down a weed and feed back in May and have not put down anything since, but I need to.

I currently have a bag of 25-0-15 left over from last year that I would like to use up, but I am not sure when the best time to use this would be?

A local hardware store recommended putting down a 16-0-8 right now.

Thoughts?

Use the current bag you have now - shouldn't make a whole lot of difference, just make sure you get a good winterizer and put it down on the week of halloween - thats one of the most important times of the year to fertilize.

We have been using 24-0-11 on all our customers. What you have will work just fine........

Would one be recommended over another if I didn't have any and was going to buy some?

I put down 30-0-10 last week on a couple of yards that are irrigated and they darkened right up and grew like mad.
