2thepointsetters Posted August 9, 2009 Share Posted August 9, 2009 3 way rig a 10 ounce or 1 pound weight. Less line out. You will need a rod that can handle it but it works great. He is looking to troll 30 to 35 feet down. A 10 oz weight will put you at 50 feet down and a 16 oz will be at 80 plus. The general rule is 5 feet down for every ounce of weight.
