Night Fishing

I'm new to chasing cats and just looking for a little advice. I'm going to try by the swing bridge one night this week and was wondering what depth range to look for them. Is ist more of a shallow bite or do you put one bait deep and the other one shallow.

Try finding timber that is in 3-8 ft of water adjacent to deeper water. Deeper fish ahve been slow the last couple of weeks. Good Luck!!

if there is deeper water somewhere nearby, you can find them in less than 10 ft. at night. anything that might cause a current break will help. i try to find downed trees first then motor around to get a feel for depths in the area.
