As always she catches the bigger fish
hotrod1
What height of cut on your green IcePro? I seeded our lawn with 100% bluegrass. mowed at 1" with a reel mower but bentgrass is starting to move in.
IcePro
hotrod1....I cut the green about 1/8" - 1/4", that is the lowest setting my reel mower will go. I would like to go lower but the height works. Are you planning on converting your yard to bent grass or do you want to keep the bluegrass? Where is the bent grass coming from, did you over seed it with bent grass?Check out this HSOforum www dot putting-greens dot comThis site is for the home owner that wants a backyard green, lot of good information.Good looking yard
hotrod1
Icepro. No i really don't want to convert...The bluegrass looked so much better before the bent started moving in. Most people that see the lawn don't notice the bentgrass unless I point it out.I have worked on a golf course since 1993 and when i seeded, i used equipment from the course i worked at at the time and the mower came from the golf course. The bentgrass could have came from the seeder, the mower or even had a little seed on my boots and got into the lawn...Bentgrass can be agressive like that
