No real shock there. They had been in talks for a while. Tony toyed with Truex for a little while, but THE big rumor for a while was M-Truex to MWR.

Just another death nail for DEI. frown

The old man has rolled over in his grave so much he has torn the lining out....

Yea, not a real surprise as this had been the rumor for a while now.

It'll be interesting to see what happens to DEI now. I am betting team Ganassi severs ties with them after the season. It's sad to see Dale Sr.'s business slowly fade into oblivion.

On the flip side...really, this is quite a pick up for Waltrip Racing. Reutimann has breathed some life into that program, and the addition of Truex should only help make them much better.

Who would have guessed 3 years ago...Michael Waltrip Racing having success and starting to grow, while DEI goes down the tubes?!?!?

Slowly?!?!?!?! That crazy lady cant get out of her own way fast enough. We all knew when talks broke down with Jr. the end was near. When mark left and she merged with Gannasi and moved all the cars out of the shop it was just a matter of time. DING!!! time is up. Better hire the staff and start selling tickets to the museum. Tony called it..... Theresa made it happen.....
