It looks like I am going to ride to the Rapid City area the last week in August. Does anyone have any tips I need to know about? Real good rides, scenery, food... what ever else you can think of.

Don't miss Iron Mountain Highway, Custer State Park, Needles Highway. You can hit all 3 of them in one day. Plus Devils Tower. Iron Mountain Highway is my favorite. If you ride it you will know why. Hit Mt. Rushmore in both the day and for the night show. They are both great. There's a few "Chuckwagon" type food experiences. They are fun. You can get info on all this stuff on the internet and at tourist traps along the way.
