The Catfish Will Wait!

April is just around the corner and the lure of Southeastern Minnesota's Trout country is weighing heavily on my brain! I'm thinking of all those perfect little spots where there is a fat Brown ready to be fooled. The Smartfire always lends its opinion after a long day in the waders.

By the time regular fishing opens, it will already be time to change line! I might even try Flyfishing this year but the old "go to" hardware would be tough to put down. The small crainkbaits and plastics work so well and I don't like catching trees.

The Catfish will wait! Although...There are some in the Root River..HMMMMM.

Who else will be putting a few miles on their boots next month?
