Can you sort Google results by date

Sometimes it would be very helpful to sort Google results by date. Is that possible?

I think he means by the date they were posted. Don't know if that's possible or not, never thought about it. I think it brings up the most popular first.

Date of article. If I do a search for info about a company, I want to see what's current first, not what was written 4 years ago.

If you go to Google's HSOforum and then click on the Advance Search options tab you will find that you can expand to include

Quote:

date, usage rights, numeric range, and more.

I believe this might be what you are looking for.
