Briggs Creek - Sherburne County

I saw Briggs Creek referred to as a "trout stream" in a mapbook - is this true? If so. where? I'd like to re-live some of my boyhood adventures from Vermont!!

I don't know if it is a "designated" trout stream but unless you where ticketed or arrested as a youth don't fish that stream until trout season opens again.

Trout lakes are open until the end of the month.

Give the regs book a look, checking for winter season streams in SOuth Eastern Minnesota.

This time of year is often overlooked and can provide good action. These are Catch and release Seasons.

Iowa is open all year.
