Jim W
fishgun,I guess it all depends on the class of stream and what resides in it?If there is a decent population of shiners/chubs and minnows, go with Original floating raps #9's. Larger works well and so will smaller. However, I have found that the #9 to be best over-all. You will get the best action and flash with it. Be sure to get a good even and consistent wobble during your retrieve.Try a stop and go once in a while as well, getting a good flash with rap!Remember to try and simulate what the trout have to feed on.Spinner work well too. I like the 1/6 oz Rooster tails, specifically in the white/gray. This weight seems to be the best for stream fishing. However, Mepps and Panther Martin makes some nice spinners too.Fly-fishing depends on the current hatch, however using streamers or wet-fly presentations can work on going.Good luck and make sure you give a full report after you get back!!!!Jim W
